Since the implementation of The Automated Enforcement System (AES) on 23/9/2012 at 14 black spots areas, JPJ has declared that AES has been successful in reducing the number of errant motorists in the which had the cameras installed.
Since its implementation, over 60,000 images of motorists purportedly committing traffic offences have been captured and the summons (saman AES) is expected to be issued out soon.
If you think that the AES cameras has captured you for speeding, how can you know whether you get caught by AES ? The are few options available. The easiest way is by waiting for the summons to be delivered to your house. Otherwise, you can check your AES summons status via the following options :
How to check AES Summons
Option 1
Cara semak saman Trafik, semak Saman JPJ atau polis adalah dengan menaip POLIS SAMAN (No. plat kenderaan) dan hantar ke 32728. Caj RM0.50 akan dikenakan.
Option 2
You can check you saman free at RILEK website. RILEK stands for rangkaian Interaktif Laman Elektronik Kerajaan
Option 3
Via SMS 15888. What you need to is type POLIS SAMAN PLATE NO and send to 15888. Each SMS will cost you RM 0.20.
Option 4
FREE service direct by Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (JPJ), but please be aware that the database is not up to date.
